It is evident that when all others are getting their due, diploma engineers are facing innumerable obstructions in our department.
In the name of quota we were being overlooked for promotions. For example, when diploma SEs, who have their date of entry in to the post during 2001 are still working as SEs, when ITI/Certificate holders, who got promoted as SEs during 2005 are already AEs.
This blatant miscarriage of justice is being condoned by the recognized and unrecognized trade unions and all are justifying on various flimsy arguments.
Even now, when 48 details of incumbencies are called from diploma stream, 50 incumbency details are called from ITI stream.
I dont think it is because all are against diploma holders but because most of the SEs in diploma stream are behaving as eunuchs, who accept this humiliation with out even raising a cry against it.
It is high time diploma holders attain their manhood / womanhood.
BUT THE SORRY PART IS THAT WE ALL LOST OUR BALLS LONG BACK AND WE MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO GET OUR DUE.
By 2011, ITI stream SEs of 2007 will be becoming AEs and SEs since 2002 will remain in this pathetic state for ever. Once the Board becomes a company, we will loose our right for a promotion.
Sorry folks, I resign from this campaign, because its a lost cause. Who but a fool will try to rejuvenate a bunch of dead bodies.
